Have you ever wondered what the "garden club girls" do when we're not gardening? We learned how to knit and create felted purses, we painted glassware, and make beautiful, painted concrete leaves. One of our favorite projects, though, was our "Friendship Purses." We knitted a portion of each others purses. It took about two months, but, when we were finished, everyone had a purse that was truly unique because it had a little bit of everyone's knitting in it!
